[Cat's voice is a bit shakey and a little on the quiet side.]

Um... I know its... l-late and all... I apo-apologize to those who I may be disturbing.

Is... there someone I could stay with... for tonight?

[She gave a nod in response to that before curling up under the sheets with shut eyes.

Her dream started off normal that is until it shifted for the worse.

She was inside La'Loff Amphitheater of Tu'Lia, with Wilhelmcaster, Sages, Romidiant, Tilik and Ronny. They were fighting against the Hume Ark Angel. She watched her friends fight valiantly against the one Crystal Warrior who was maintaining his own.

Within a blink of the eye, the scenery changed. Her friends were crippled on the ground, unconscious -- or worse, dead. Their weapons discarded to the side and their armor broken. She was the only one standing, or more so, on the ground.

The Hume in dark armor slowly turned to her, a smirk on that pale face.]

No...

[He started to walk towards her, starting slow before increasing in speed, those two wicked blades drawn.

She was scrambling to get to her feet, to cast some sort of spell to save herself; but didn't make it in time.

She gave a scream and came back to reality. She was trembling, realizing she probably startled Kevas and his raccoon.]

Ah... I'm sorry...

[Kevas had always been a light sleeper. The slightest disturbance would often wake him. Needless to say, Cat's scream had him up in an instant. Strangely enough, the raccoon was still out like a light.]

Cat!

[In an instant he was at her side holding her in his arms, desperately trying to calm her down.]

It's alright Cat. Joor safe. I'm here. Notin's gonna hurt joo.

[Well, she wasn't expecting to be in Kevas' arms. Although, gave a small nod.]

Sorry... I didn't mean to wake you.

...Uh... I guess you won't let me sleep alone?

I doubt we can both sleep next to each other on there.

[This had to be the first time he heard those words come out of a mouth other than his own. Then again, this had to be the first time he spent the night with a woman with no other intent but to help her feel better. And that's all he really wanted, to help her feel better and see that wonderful smile again.]

Sure we can do dat.

[He pulled the blanket aside and started to crawl into the bed.]

[Kevas wrapped an arm around her, gently rubbing her back.]



[Before drifting off into his own sleep, Kevas removed his hat and gently set it on Cat. The hat usually kept his own dreams from haunting him, maybe it would do the same for Cat.]
