[From the door comes fast knocking. Castiel had heard Cat's accidental post and had heard someone trying to talk her down. He had no idea where she was, so he had decided to check her room first.]

Cat? Are you in there? It's Castiel.

[Jinx runs to the door and opens it.]

Yah, she's here. Not doin' too well.

From:

[Castiel just kind of stares at Jinx for a moment before catching himself.]

Can I come in and check on her?

[Not without a brief interrogation.]

Does she know ya'?

From:

[Castiel frowns a bit, but understands. All his human friends are paranoid.]

Yes.

[But that's about as much as you're going to get for now.]

[Down boys, down! Poor Cas, having to deal with Reno & Jinx like that.

Cat reemerged from the bathroom, wearing slacks and a long shirt instead of her usual gear, looking somewhat normal.]

Ah! Cas!

[That was a feeble attempt there as she slowly moved away from the doorway.]

Its alright, he's a friend. Please let him in.

[Instead of greeting the angel who was at the door, she moved to the bed to sit down on, quickly moving the pictures to a pile. That soup must be getting cold by now.]

I'm sorry I took so long.

[Jinx steps aside.]

[Castiel just glances at Jinx, then steps into the room and makes his way over to Cat. He crouches down next to the bed, looking at her face.]

Are you alright? I'm sorry I couldn't help, I had no idea where you were.

[There's a small nod, the skin around her eyes did seem a little on the puffy side.]

For the most part, I'm sorry that I worried you and everyone else.

[She lowered her head in embarrassment, her ears folding down a little. Oh boy, was that new tears? She quickly covered her face with her hands.]

Well... I'm uh... gonna go see if I can find some frames for those pictures an' go to Sergi's for a while...

Right now, she was fighing to force back those tears and consider having some soup so she can have some strength back.]

[Jinx notices that Cat is eying the tray of food that he made for her. He heads over to the table and holds out the chair like a gentleman.]

[Castiel doesn't really know how to deal with crying anyones, so he stands up and awkwardly pats her on the shoulder.]

Go and eat, Cat.

[She inhaled a bit of air and wiped at her eyes, nodding before moving off of the bed and to the chair. Those ears of hers were still down as she started to spoon the soup and took a sip from it.

Agh! It was somewhat colder than she liked.

Unable to help herself, she started to cast Enfire, this time successful. Her hand lit on fire for a brief moment before disappearing and she snapped her fingers to keep the flame going. Such a weird way to reheat soup...]

[Castiel, who had never really seen many outward signs of magic from Cat, looks visibly surprised by this show of magic. However, he'll leave it for right now, for a time when she's not so upset.]

[Jinx is going to just sit back and watch. He has never really been the type to believe in magic, even if he has seen it up close with Pamela.

Well, Zuko as well, but that doesn't count.]

[After taking a few spoonfuls of the warm soup, she puts down the utensil and wipes at her mouth for a brief moment. She turns her head towards Jinx then to Castiel before looking down at her lap.

So, they heard her screaming to nothing; probably thinking she's insane now. She sighs before opening her mouth to speak, at least she was a bit louder than before.]

I was trying to reassure myself that I wasn't going to become an Ark Angel. I had a lot of... jealousy built up at other people on the boat, the ones who have friends or people from their world.

[She waited for their responses.]

[Apparently Razer and Kleiver were from the same wold as Jinx even though he had never seen either of them ever.]

Cat. I understand that you would wish for someone familiar, but you need not feel envious of those who have someone from their home. You can make new connections on the boat.
