[The recording comes to life with a large gasp from the Mithra, she's trying to keep control of her emotions, but there's hint in her voice that its failing.]
...I need some help on deck 7! Something horrible took place here and I'm trying to...
[She trails off, the chime of her spell can be heard. It is ineffective to the body its being casted on.]
My magic doesn't seem to be working!
[She tries again, a Raise spell, but it fails as well. Her voice is starting to crack.]
C'mon! Work! Embraced by the soothing wind, heal the wounds of those deeply in need! Cure IV!
[Again, it fails. There's a cry of frustration before the feed dies with a loud thunk.]

[He's only a couple decks away when the post goes up, so he starts running towards the elevators as he replies.]
[audio]
Its... Kevas! He's...
[She trails off, trying to keep it together as she tries casting but the spell stops mid-way.]
...dead.
[Once again, there's the chime of her magic, she's not going to stop casting.]

*That's his deck, so he's out to wander the halls and find her or the trouble.*

Kevas... I found him... dead. I'm trying to... revive him, but... not having any luck.

Cat, just stay there; I'm coming to you.
*Given how many chimes she's causing, he should be able to hunt her down quickly.*

[Marco can find the mage standing near Kevas' body, the neck broken and the chest had been impaled. She's still trying to cast spells, hoping that her "brother" would recover; knowing that there was a chance that wasn't going to happen.]

...Cat.
*And puts a hand on her shoulder, trying to steer her to look at him instead of the body. He doesn't look away from it himself, though.*
no subject
Not again... This can't be happening again!

Its alright, Cat. He'll be as good as new in about a day.
*...Or, at least, he'd better be.*

[Sabriel felt that. It's been a while since she's been close enough to sense someone's death. But Cat is obviously still alive, so it's Cat she asks after.]
[Audio]
[But her voice is shakey.]
[Audio]
[Sabriel is cautiously making her way up the stairs. There's a lot of noise and movement on deck seven. It occurs to her that the death she felt may not be the person Cat is trying to heal.]
Is someone else hurt?
[Audio]
[Why didn't she realize this earlier when she arrived? Although she glances at the body that's beside her and she closes her eyes.]
I've... been trying to revive him, but no luck.
[Audio]
What is the closest room number?
[Audio]
The hallway with the numbers of 63...

... So you don't know how it occurred anyway.

[She shook her head and started to cast her spells again. She wasn't going to give up.]
no subject
... You can't bring the dead back, Cat. [At least, not where he was from. And not in that manner.]
