[Cat won't be able to hear Jinx's cursing. That doesn't really matter though since he's already on his way to find her.

Jinx takes Cat's hint of going down and takes the elevator to deck twelve.]

[The Mithra had been gathering some coats and had put them in a pile by her door. She had switched out of her traditional Red Mage armor and was now wearing a grey-ish doublet assamble.

Her ears were flat as she continued her work, unaware of the angry elf coming to get her. Her mind was else where at the moment.]

[Jinx immediately spots Cat and heads in her direction.

He crouches next to the Mithra and smiles, though he's still angry.]

Do I need ta' drag ya' back ta' yer room this time?

[She was startled by the sudden voice behind her, causing her to jump a little and sending her tail straight up behind her back, all frazzled.

One moment Jinx, she needs to calm down and make sure her heart isn't going to explode.]

[And Jinx was equally startled by Cat's cry.]

It's just me, don't have a fuckin' heart attack.

[Okay, she was calm. She turned and pointed straight at him.]

Don't do that!

[Although it was hard to tell if he upsetted her or something had.]

I didn't even do anythin'. Do ya' need help er not?

No, I'm fine.

[She turned away and started to go back to finding more 'blankets' and 'bedding'. She wasn't looking him in the eye and her voice was mostly quiet.]

Why did you come down here anyway?

No yer not. We're goin' ta' yer room.

[Jinx stands and makes his way back to the elevator, expecting Cat to follow.]

I don't plan on staying in my room.

[For the next few days or even weeks.]

You'll be wasting energy on me.

[Jinx stops.]

[Because avoiding subject before has done wonders for you Cat. Remember that time in the caves? Yeah, don't have a repeat of that.]

[He crosses his arms now, clearly frustrated.]

[Her body tensed and she shook her head. The Mithra's voice was strained.]

[Yah, sure, that. Jinx really never bothered to learn the man's name.]

[She was about to say something but she closed her mouth. She just shook her head again. That tail of hers wasn't moving much, at all.]

He's probably busy anyway.

Then I guess I'll just leave then.

[Now he has full intention to get into that elevator and head back to his room.]

[Wait, did that mean he was going to get Reno? Those ears on her head perked up and she quickly turned to grab Jinx by the arm.]

Don't!

[Yup. He knows where Reno lives and could probably convince him to lend a hand.]

Missed yer chance, Suga'.

[He presses the button.]

No, please don't!

[She tugged on his arm, trying to pull him away from the elevator.]

I don't want him to use that ability of his on me again!

[...Whoops.

She let go of his arm and quickly backed away, her hands covering her mouth. Oh, that was a bad idea to say that.]

[Jinx gives Cat one last look before picking her up and carrying, her bridal style, into the elevator. You are getting help no matter what you say, Cat.]

[There's a shriek from the Mithra and she's squrming in his grip. Desperately trying to get out.]

Put me down! Put me down! I don't want to go in there! PUT ME DOWN!

No way. We're goin' ta' either Reno's room er my room. Yer choice.

[Jinx is quite the strong man so your squirming is ineffective.]
