Hmn... This place feels somewhat familiar. Kinda like that last place the boat stopped at. Isle... Emeraudes, I think.
I feel like I could be doing something, like a quest or errands for people. I haven't done anything like that in a while!
[She sounds excited as she rummages through some forestry.]
But, I think I need to satisfy my need of exploring fir--
[There's a clunk and a bit of a yowl, as well as a thump of the Mithra's body landing on the grassland. The communicator goes silent.]

I guess I was out cold for a while?
no subject
Maybe. Joo were already awake by da time I got dere.
[Kevas can see the town coming up in the distance. Good they're almost there. The quicker he gets Cat's head taken care of the better.]

I remember it being early morning, I couldn't sleep. It seems late in the day now...

How joor stomach feelin'? Be feelin' nauseous any? Dere be any ringin' in joor ears?
[He's moving a bit faster now that they're in town.]
no subject
[She looked up at her ears.]
I think that passed too?
[She looks back down to Kevas before trying to cast cure. No luck.]
This is bad...
no subject
[Kevas smiles gently at her trying to reassure her.
When they finally get the inn Kevas stops.]
Joo already be havin' a room here?
no subject
[She frowned a little and scratched the side of her head.]
But if I don't have my magic, I'm not exactly a Red Mage anymore.
no subject
It'll come back. Joo just gotta get some rest alright?
[Inside Kevas gets the first room available and quickly hurries to get Cat into the room and onto the bed.]
Wait here. I gonna be right back.
[He disappears into the bathroom for a few minutes. When he comes back he's holding a wet washcloth. Lacking ice, he ran the washcloth under the sink until he could get it as cold as possible.]
Now dis might sting a liddle.
[Gently he lifts Cat's head and places the washcloth on the bump. He doesn't have his bandages or any sort of first aid and he's no doctor so this is the best he can do right now.]
no subject
Ow~ I'll manage, I had worse.
[A small smile as she closed her eyes.]
Thanks a lot, if you were in the same situation, you'd be healed up for the most part.
no subject
It just be one of da amazin' benefits of bein' a troll.
Joo gonna be good as new by mornin' alright?
[Or at least be able to cast her spells again hopefully.]
no subject
[She'll be a good girl and remain laying there.]
I hope so. Or I can find a spot on the island and practice.
no subject
[He's making himself comfortable next to the bed. He doesn't want to leave her by herself just yet.]
no subject
Yeah, it'll probably come back after some -- Where's Tequila?
no subject
He be 'round here somewhere. I be sure he gonna show up soonah or latah. Wouldn't worry, da liddle be knowin' how to look aftah himself.
[After all he's a raccoon. They can survive damn near anywhere.]
no subject
[A small smile.]
So you wouldn't have to stay around here constantly until I'm better.

no subject
What exactly happened? If you know.
no subject
[He's sketchy on the details. After all most of his time was spent being possessed by a jewel.]
no subject
That's not good. I wish I was there to help! I had to strain myself with testing out my magic strength.
[Her ears folded over and sighs a little.]
I'm not doing a good job, am I?
no subject
Joo be doin' fine Cat and even if joo hadn't worn joorself out joo couldn't have helped dem.
Almost none of dem suhvived lettin' dat t'ing out.
[Kevas wasn't there but he did see the aftermath. It wasn't a pretty sight.]
no subject
Oh... It was that bad, huh?
[Her hands flexed on the bed as if she was repressing a memory before looking back up.]
Maybe I should try and sing that song again. Even if I'm no bard.
no subject
Maybe, but now joo focus on gettin' bettah first. T'ink dat be more impuhtant den anytin' else.
no subject
[She reaches up to fix the cloth behind her head. She seems to be lost in thought.]
